Beijing Zoo has taken multiple measures to rectify

People's Daily, March 16, Beijing (Chi Mengrui) Spring is warm and blooming, and everything is recovering. Beijing's spring has officially begun. Currently, there is an endless stream of tourists visiting the Beijing Zoo to enjoy the scenery and see animals, especially on weekends, with a significant increase in passenger traffic. On March 16, the Beijing Zoo announced the hotline for reporting uncivilized park tours (010-68390454). After receiving reports from tourists, the park will send special personnel to manage and handle them on site. Beijing Zoo will work with tourists to create a harmonious and civilized sightseeing environment.

Beijing Zoo has taken multiple measures to rectify uncivilized garden tours, and uncivilized behaviors found can be reported

According to Liu Haobo, Chief of the Safety Emergency Department of the Beijing Zoo, at present, the Beijing Zoo has achieved full coverage of the entire park's intelligent security system. A "uncivilized management and control desk" is set up in the park emergency management command center, where staff continuously monitor through monitoring probes. Once uncivilized park excursions are found, they can use camera positioning and emergency broadcasting to dissuade them, while cooperating with on-site grid inspectors for rapid disposal. For serious cases of uncivilized behavior, the park will also record the "Record Sheet of Tourism uncivilized Behavior" and cooperate with urban management to jointly enforce the law. The municipal park will jointly punish the uncivilized offenders listed on the blacklist and restrict their access to the park for sightseeing.

The reporter saw that in each animal exhibition area of the park, there are science popularization introduction signs to introduce animal habits and dietary types, as well as warm reminder publicity signs. At the same time, there are more than 400 no feeding signs in key areas, and 52 "uncivilized behavior exposure platforms". The wooden fence laid inside the outdoor animal sports ground has become the "secondary isolation" of the Beijing Zoo's animal shed. The zoo has set up nearly 1060 linear meters of fences in 13 animal sports grounds such as small muntjac and antelope, effectively preventing tourists from feeding animals. Not only is there a wooden fence, but also a green belt isolation area has played a significant role. Reporters saw in the sports ground outside the Bird Garden Parrot Hall that the green isolation area separates animals from tourists, which can avoid feeding while not impeding ornamental animals. At the same time, laying pebbles at the enclosure of outdoor sports fields such as Monkey Mountain and Herbivorous Animal Area can not only provide ventilation, but also prevent tourists from coming into close contact.

In order to ensure the continuous health of various rare animals on display, all staff of the zoo have become civilized behavior guides, who will promptly dissuade and guide any uncivilized feeding behavior found. The park grid inspection personnel adopt a combination of "fixed posts+mobile sentries", arrange fixed posts in key areas, and promptly discourage feeding if any. At the same time, the joint governance and active guidance of the park police station, urban management, social volunteers, and capital civilization guides have effectively reduced the frequency of uncivilized behavior.

"Through unremitting governance, we have found that more and more tourists in the park have joined the team to discourage uncivilized behaviors, and most tourists who find feeding animals nearby can stand up and dissuade them. Citizens and tourists are welcome to join the civilized park team. If various uncivilized behaviors are found in the park, you can contact our management and inspection personnel nearby to stop them, or call to report them." Tel: 68390454. The park will promptly send special personnel to the site for management and disposal. "I hope that with the joint efforts of everyone, the atmosphere of the zoo will be more civilized and harmonious, and the various animals on display in the park can receive the common care of everyone." Liu Haobo said.

Warm reminder from Beijing Zoo: Citizens and tourists who come to the park for sightseeing are invited to visit the park in a civilized manner. They are not allowed to feed or beat animals, climb flowers or trees, trample on the lawn, smoke in the park, or litter at will, in order to jointly build a harmonious and civilized sightseeing environment.
