According to NHK, the Japan Broadcasting Association, the Japan Meteorological Agency predicted that the lowest temperature in major cities across the country on January 25 would drop significantly, with the temperature of minus 12 degrees in Sapporo in the north and minus 3 degrees in Tokyo and Nagoya. The 24-hour snow thickness in the northern land area and Niigata Prefecture will reach 70-90 cm.
