A man and his wife negotiate a divorce and are not

As the saying goes, "It is not sweet to make a strong fight." However, in July 2015, Cai, a Chinese-born man from Sichuan, was malicious and wanted to set fire to his wife because he could not reach an agreement with his wife Chen on the terms of divorce. Recently, the Shizhong District Procuratorate of Neijiang City filed a public prosecution against Cai on suspicion of intentional homicide. After the trial of the court, the defendant Cai was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment.

In 2015, the marriage between Cai Mou, a man in Zizhong County, and his wife Chen Mou came to an end. On or about July 15, Cai and Chen had a "negotiation" about the divorce. However, due to the failure to reach an agreement on the terms of divorce, the conflict between the two sides was further intensified. Cai had the idea of setting fire to his wife Chen and her parents. After 6:00 p.m. on July 20, Cai came to Chen's parents' home in Shuguang Village, Economic Development Zone, with two mineral water bottles filled with gasoline prepared in advance, and hid them on the back hill of Chen's home. After 11:00 p.m., after Chen and his family had a rest, Cai went into the second floor of Chen's house by turning the window, poured the gasoline he brought from the second floor to the door of the bedroom where Chen's parents lived on the first floor, and lit the gasoline with a lighter, causing a fire in the house. A fire broke out in the house and Chen's family was awakened. Menmou immediately organized his family to escape and put out the fire. In the process, Menmou's leg was burned. After setting fire, Cai fled the scene quickly, ran to the back of Chen's house again, and killed himself by cutting his wrist and neck with his own fruit knife, all of which failed.

The police investigated that Cai was soon captured. After the case occurred, the public security organ quickly intervened and launched an investigation into the case. Through a large number of visits and platoons, the police handling the case quickly locked down the suspect Cai. After investigation, suspect Cai, born in 1989 in Zizhong County, has junior high school education. After the suspect Cai was locked, the public security organ immediately carried out the arrest action and successfully captured him. During the interrogation, the suspect truthfully explained his criminal behavior. On August 21, 2015, with the approval of the People's Procuratorate of Shizhong District, Neijiang City, the Public Security Branch of Shizhong District, Neijiang City executed the arrest of suspect Cai according to law.

The court heard that Cai was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment. Recently, the Shizhong District Procuratorate of Neijiang City filed a public prosecution to the court with Cai Mou suspected of intentional homicide. After the court heard, the defendant Cai Mou used the means of setting fire to illegally deprive others of their lives, which seriously violated the right to life of others, and has violated the criminal law, constituting the crime of intentional homicide. The court held that the defendant Cai Mou had started to commit a crime and failed to succeed due to factors beyond his will, which was an attempted crime. After Cai committed a crime, he truthfully confessed his inability to commit a crime. In accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph of Article 234, the third paragraph of Article 23 and the third paragraph of Article 67 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, the defendant Cai Mou was convicted of intentional homicide and sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment according to law.
